Region:

Global

Sector:

Financial Services

Scale:

Over 600 participants across more than 30 iterations worldwide.

Bespoke Leadership Development. The design now features in our programme library.

The Challenge:

The global banking organization recognised that despite a strong internal pipeline of talented women, many were not advancing into senior leadership roles at the expected rate. Confidence, visibility, and self-belief often presented barriers, even among high-performing individuals.

The organisation wanted to address this by providing an empowering and psychologically safe development experience that would enable women to explore their leadership identity, build belief in their capability, and develop the confidence to influence and progress.

Tenacity: Empowering Women Leaders

Our Solution:

Inspirational Group partnered with the client to deliver Tenacity: Optimising Your Impact, a three-day or six-workshop journey designed to strengthen emotional intelligence, confidence, and influence among high-potential women leaders.

Delivered over a 3–4 month period, the programme combines experiential learning, reflection, and coaching to help participants clarify their ambitions, play to their strengths, and lead with confidence and impact. Each participant completes a Strengthscope® profile, works with peer “Thinking Partners” between sessions, and receives a 90-minute coaching session to embed learning after the programme.

Day 1: Exploring Strengths and Self-Awareness

Participants completed their Strengthscope® profile to understand how their strengths and potential overdrive behaviours influence performance. They explored personal ambitions, challenges, and opportunities in their current roles, building self-awareness and clarity about how to lead authentically and purposefully.

Day 2: Influence, Collaboration, and Courageous Conversations

This day focused on influencing skills, emotional intelligence, and inclusive leadership. Participants learned how to balance strengths with key development needs, communicate with confidence, and handle courageous conversations through practical real-play scenarios.

Day 3: Decision-Making, Resilience, and Positive Performance

The final day centred on decision-making, resilience, and wellbeing. Participants explored frameworks for problem-solving, tools for maintaining balance under pressure, and approaches for sustaining confidence and performance through change.

Impact:

Tenacity delivered measurable results across confidence, progression, and performance. Participants reported significant personal growth and stronger leadership presence, while the organisation achieved clear evidence of career advancement and retention improvements.

Key Results:

  • Over 600 participants across 30+ programme iterations worldwide.
  • 50% of participants achieved upward progression following completion of the programme.
  • When accounting for leavers, this equated to a 75% progression rate among retained participants.
  • Significant uplift in self-reported confidence, leadership presence, and influence.
