Bob Hughes PCC is a UK-based leadership coach, consultant, and speaker with over 30 years of experience in developing individuals, teams, and organisations across the globe. As Director of Strategic Leadership & Coaching, Bob is the creator of the Forton Leadership Coaching Model—the first in the world to receive accreditation from the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

Bob is known for his dynamic, results-driven coaching style, supporting leaders from graduates to C-Suite executives to grow with purpose, clarity, and confidence. He excels at helping high-potential professionals transition into effective, values-based leaders, while also equipping senior leaders to improve performance and foster engaged cultures.

Having led corporate teams of over 400 people and delivered multi-million-pound programmes, Bob’s leadership experience spans the IT, finance, engineering, humanitarian, government, health, and luxury goods sectors. His work includes 1:1 executive coaching, team and group coaching, talent and leadership development, and strategic project delivery.

He trains, supervises, and assesses professional coaches for multiple coaching schools and the ICF, and is a sought-after international speaker known for his engaging and humorous style. Bob also serves as a non-executive director for Engage for Success, a UK non-profit promoting employee engagement and better workplace culture.

His specialist areas include employee engagement, leadership and team development, diagnostic tools, project management, and organisational change. Bob holds certifications in Co-Active Coaching, psychometrics, and performance coaching, and is a Professional Certified Coach (ICF). He has co-authored publications on inclusive and abundant leadership and continues to shape the profession through his volunteer roles with the ICF Ethics Sub-Committee.
