Lyne Desormeaux

Dr. Lyne Desormeaux MA, BA, MCC is a bilingual executive coach, consulting psychologist, and leadership advisor based in the United States. With over 30 years of international experience—including extensive work in Canada—Lyne brings exceptional depth to her coaching through her expertise in behavioural psychology, business strategy, and organizational effectiveness. She coaches and trains in both English and French.

A Master Certified Coach (ICF) and holder of a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Lyne partners with senior executives and their teams to unlock performance, navigate interpersonal challenges, and align leadership behaviours with business objectives. Her approach blends rigorous psychological insight with practical business acumen to drive measurable results in complex organizational environments.

Lyne’s areas of focus include executive and group coaching, leadership team development, succession planning, strategic skill-building, and change management. She has a proven track record in supporting C-suite leaders to enhance their communication, design infrastructure aligned with business strategy, and foster strong team dynamics. She is especially skilled at addressing group dynamics and process challenges that impact team effectiveness.

Her industry experience spans healthcare, insurance, finance, government, technology, and manufacturing. She is also a certified practitioner in HBDI, Hogan Assessments, and the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Instrument.

Lyne’s credentials include an MA in Government from Harvard University and a BA from the University of Ottawa. She is a former President of the Society of Consulting Psychology (APA, Division 13), where she held several leadership roles over more than a decade. She also holds the Certificate of Professional Qualification in Psychology (CPQ).
