Malcolm Nicholson BSc is a UK-based consultant, coach, and faculty member known for transforming the performance of senior executives and rising leaders through strategic, pragmatic, and deeply personalised coaching. With a rich background in business and entrepreneurship, Malcolm specialises in helping clients navigate complexity, ambiguity, and high-pressure environments with confidence and clarity.

Malcolm’s coaching integrates insights from three complementary disciplines—sports psychology, complexity theory, and existentialist coaching—offering clients tools to perform at their peak, build cognitive capacity for strategic roles, and develop clarity in unpredictable contexts. His results-oriented approach combines real-world impact with a strong sense of personal growth.

He is described as “engaging, yet ruthlessly results-orientated,” providing 1:1 coaching, team coaching, leadership development, and executive mentoring tailored to each client’s context and goals. Malcolm has worked across a wide range of sectors including professional services, technology, telecoms, financial services, retail, engineering, entertainment, healthcare, and the humanitarian field.

His coaching helps leaders remove roadblocks, develop mental resilience, enhance influence, and work interculturally with ease. He is particularly experienced in supporting high-potential leaders and mid-career executives seeking renewed purpose and effectiveness.

Malcolm holds a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Psychology and multiple coaching certifications including Master Coach (BCI), NLP, mindfulness-based coaching, and sports performance coaching. He is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) and a faculty member with The Forton Group.
