To power this growth, we are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our India & APR operations, based in Maharashtra. This is more than a role, it’s a chance to help shape the next chapter of our global story.

Role Overview

We are looking for a driven, well-connected, and insights-led Business Development Manager who will help expand our client base across Maharashtra.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Passionate about Learning & Development.
  • Skilled in consultative selling.
  • Experienced in building strong relationships with HR, L&D, and senior business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Pipeline Building

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with corporate clients across new sectors.
  • Leverage existing networks in the HR/L&D ecosystem to generate high-quality leads.

Client Engagement & Relationship Management 

  • Build relationships with decision-makers (CHROs, L&D Heads, Business Leaders).
  • Represent the firm’s capabilities credibly in sales meetings, events, and forums.

Solutioning & Proposal Development

  • Collaborate with internal consultants and designers to create tailored solutions.
  • Write or co-create compelling proposals that address client-specific challenges.

Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Stay updated on L&D trends, challenges, and competitor activity.
  • Share insights internally to help shape go-to-market strategies.

Revenue Ownership

  • Own quarterly BD targets and conversion metrics.
  • Drive repeat business through account nurturing and client satisfaction.

Key Requirements

  • Experience: 5–10 years in business development, ideally in L&D, HR consulting, or professional services.
  • Network: Strong existing relationships in the Mumbai corporate landscape, particularly within HR, L&D, and Talent functions.
  • Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of leadership development, team interventions, coaching, and OD tools.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Consultative sales approach and storytelling ability.
    • Strong presentation and proposal-writing skills.
    • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, HR, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
