Project ReMAKE: Inspirational Group’s Ongoing Support for Empowering New Beginnings

At Inspirational Group, we believe in the power of transformation—both in business and in people’s lives. Since 2023, we have been proud supporters of Project ReMAKE, a charity that aligns closely with our vision of making a meaningful difference through behavioural change.

Why Project ReMAKE? 

When we first encountered Project ReMAKE, its mission deeply resonated with us. The programme focuses on empowering formerly incarcerated individuals through entrepreneurship and self-employment, offering them a path to successful reintegration into society. Recognising the transformative potential of this work, we invited our employees to choose our charity partner, and we were thrilled when they emerged as the clear choice.

Turning Commitment Into Action 

Our commitment goes beyond words. Inspirational Group pledged to donate 1% of our net profits to Project ReMAKE, supporting their efforts to give individuals and their families the opportunity for a fresh start. This year, we are proud to contribute £4,365.10, continuing our promise to invest in meaningful change.

But financial contributions are just one part of our involvement. Over the past two years, we’ve actively supported the programme by participating in Dragons’ Den-style events, where aspiring entrepreneurs present their business ideas to panels of seasoned investors and industry leaders. These events, hosted in partnership with universities and forward-thinking businesses like Capita, Linklaters, and Timpsons, highlight the incredible potential of their participants and offer them real-world feedback and mentorship.

Championing Inspirational Stories 

Through our networks and campaigns, we’ve worked to amplify their message—calling for more business mentors and sponsors to get involved and help scale the impact of this vital work.

We’re also excited to feature Kameel Khan, Founder of Project ReMAKE, in our weekly “Inspirational Stories”. His dedication to creating pathways for formerly incarcerated individuals has transformed countless lives, and we look forward to sharing his journey to inspire others. In addition, we hope to collaborate on a podcast that dives deeper into his vision and the future of the charity.

Celebrating Success Stories 

One of the most powerful outcomes is seeing its graduates thrive. We’re excited to spotlight Carl Dixon, a programme graduate who has also self-published his book “A Deeper Motivation Beyond a Salary.” His journey is a testament to the transformative power of second chances, and we can’t wait to share more about his story and achievements.

Looking Ahead 

Our relationship with Project ReMAKE is a continuous journey. From mentoring to employment opportunities, we’re committed to finding new ways to support the graduates and help them build stable, fulfilling futures. We’re even exploring potential roles within our own organisation to offer direct employment pathways for programme participants.
