Charlie joined IG in 2018 and has grown through three roles since then, starting in Operations and Programme Support before becoming a Project Manager and now a Client Services Manager. His background in education and youth development gives him a natural understanding of how people learn and how powerful experiential development can be at any age.
Charlie is qualified with the Association for Project Management and leads the end to end delivery of bespoke programmes. His work includes client relationship management, budget creation, supplier engagement and overall project leadership. He is often the person ensuring that the right people, resources and details are in place so that every programme experience feels seamless for both clients and participants.
Before IG, Charlie worked in education where he helped grow experiential development opportunities for children and young adults through sport. He has also tutored youth leadership programmes for students aged 15 to 18, supporting them as they begin to understand their strengths, their leadership style and the steps they want to take next in life. This experience is something he still carries into his work today and remains one of the parts of his career he is most proud of.
Charlie cares deeply about the impact that learning can have on people. He loves knowing that each session contributes to individuals feeling more confident and capable, which in turn helps shape workplaces that people genuinely want to be part of. His passion for development is also reflected in his own journey; he is working towards his coaching qualification with the International Coaching Federation.
Outside of IG, Charlie is happiest playing sport. He is a qualified FA Level 3 (UEFA B) football coach, a semi-professional footballer and an enthusiastic golfer and racket sport player. He also holds the Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award. His favourite quote feels fitting for someone who values hard work and improvement:

When asked what makes IG different, Charlie talks about the dedication of the people and the real desire to make everything the best it can be. He is proud to have been part of teams whose programmes have been shortlisted for awards and values the fact that IG’s work genuinely impacts people and workplaces.
