Johanne has built a career around helping others succeed. She has spent more than two decades supporting leaders and managers across the world to develop the skills, behaviours and self awareness needed to thrive. As a Principal Consultant at IG, she designs and delivers experiential leadership programmes for participants at every stage of their career journey. Her approach is grounded, thoughtful and deeply practical, shaped by years of experience working in both the public and private sectors.
Johanne’s career began at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, where she graduated before serving ten years as an officer in the Royal Military Police. During this time, she commanded specialist teams and deployed in operational leadership roles. These experiences taught her how to lead in high pressure situations, how to build trust quickly and how to bring out the best in others when it matters most.
After leaving the military, Johanne moved into organisational development, taking on senior roles in talent management, human resources, learning and development, consultancy and change management. She has worked across industries including retail, media and professional services, helping organisations engage and develop their people in ways that are both human and effective.
As a qualified coach, Johanne supports individuals stepping into new roles by helping them build self awareness, confidence and a strengths based mindset. She is certified in a wide range of psychometric tools, which allow her to guide clients towards deeper insight into their preferences, behaviours and leadership style.
Johanne’s design expertise has shaped many of IG’s longest running leadership programmes. She is proud of creating multi modular learning experiences that help organisations maximise their investment in people development, while also enabling individuals to achieve their career ambitions.
Outside of work, Johanne enjoys skiing, driving her Morris Minor and collecting Cuban cigars. She lives in the Cambridgeshire Fens with her husband and two vintage tractors, and she draws inspiration from people who make the most of life and lead with kindness and thoughtfulness.
