What's involved?

Once you have signed up, we assign you an experienced leadership mentor who guides you through a series of learning challenges. These are designed not only to give you the knowledge you need to achieve your qualification but also to help you apply the various principles to your role and organisation.

Our programmes include hours of tutorial videos and audio narratives, in addition to written and downloadable reference materials – all accessed via our IDG Online learning management system.

There are no set timetables – the duration of each unit is down to you. We offer this flexibility so that you can fit it in around your personal circumstances – even if they change. As a rough guide, if you can donate 4 to 5 hours a week to study, each unit should take you around 3 – 6 months.

Award, Certificate or Diploma?

Our CMI-accredited professional qualifications are made up of individual units that can be completed to gain an Award, Certificate or Diploma. Awards are a single-unit qualification often focusing on a specific element or principle. You will gain a Certificate on completion of two or three units, whereas a Diploma is awarded after completing 5, 6 or 7 units (depending on the level).
